Zoom और Google Meet में Background Correctly कैसे बदलें
Online classes, meetings और interviews के लिए clean virtual backgrounds use करना सीखें.
Google Meet
- Before joining: on the preview screen click Apply visual effects (sparkle icon) at the bottom-right of your video.
- During a call: click ⋮ (More options) → Apply visual effects (or Backgrounds and effects).
- Choose Slightly blur / Blur, a ready background, or + Upload your own image.
- Close the panel – the effect stays for the meeting.
On Android/iPhone: tap your self-view → Effects. On older or low-power devices the option may be missing or disabled to save performance. School-managed accounts can also turn uploads off.
Zoom
- In the meeting, click the ^ next to Start/Stop Video → Choose virtual background… (or Blur my background).
- Pick an image, Blur, or click + to add your own image/video.
- Tick I have a green screen only if you really use one.
- Before meetings: Zoom app → Settings → Background & effects.
Microsoft Teams (quick note)
Pre-join screen → Effects and avatars / Background filters; during a meeting: More → Video effects. Choose blur or an image and Apply.
Make a good custom background
- Size 1920 × 1080 px (16:9), JPG or PNG, under about 5 MB.
- Keep the middle area plain – that is where you sit; put the logo/name in a top corner.
- School/company branded backgrounds look professional in parent-teacher meetings and interviews.
- Text in your background appears mirrored to you but correct to others – do not “fix” it.
Look clear on camera
- Light in front of you (a window or lamp), not behind.
- Plain wall behind you makes the virtual background edges cleaner.
- Camera at eye level; keep a little space above your head.
- Close other apps if the video lags – background effects need processing power.
- For interviews, blur is safer than a fancy image.
Privacy
Blur hides your room, family members and documents on the wall. It is not perfect – quick movements can reveal the background for a moment, so keep private papers out of the camera view anyway.
Google Meet
- Join करने से पहले: preview screen पर अपने video के नीचे-दाएँ Apply visual effects (sparkle icon) पर click करें।

अच्छा custom background बनाएँ

- बीच का हिस्सा सादा रखें – वहाँ आप बैठते हैं; logo/नाम ऊपर के कोने में।
- School/company branded backgrounds parent-teacher meetings और interviews में professional दिखते हैं।
- Background का text आपको उल्टा पर दूसरों को सही दिखता है – इसे “ठीक” न करें।
Camera पर साफ़ दिखें
- रोशनी आपके सामने (खिड़की या lamp), पीछे नहीं।
- पीछे सादी दीवार से virtual background के किनारे साफ़ आते हैं।
- Camera आँखों के स्तर पर; सिर के ऊपर थोड़ी जगह।
- Video अटके तो दूसरे apps बंद करें – background effects को processing power चाहिए।
- Interviews में fancy image से blur ज़्यादा सुरक्षित है।
Privacy
Blur आपका कमरा, परिवार के सदस्य और दीवार के documents छिपाता है। यह perfect नहीं – तेज़ हरकत से पल भर background दिख सकता है, इसलिए निजी काग़ज़ camera की नज़र से वैसे भी दूर रखें।

Virtual background का सबसे अच्छा size क्या है?
JPG या PNG में 1920 × 1080 pixels (16:9)। ज़रूरी text बीच से दूर रखें।
