E-commerce Project Viva Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Which technologies are used in this e-commerce project?
The backend is plain PHP (works on PHP 7.2 up to 8.3) with PDO and MySQL, so it runs on normal shared hosting like Hostinger. The app is native Android in Kotlin with XML layouts, MVVM, Retrofit, Glide and Material 3.
Do I need to finish the Android course first?
It helps. This course assumes you know basic Android views, RecyclerView and fragments, which are taught in the Android (Kotlin) course on CodingEasily.
Is online payment included?
The project uses Cash on Delivery so it works without a payment account. The checkout lesson shows where a payment gateway such as Razorpay plugs in.
Can I use this project for my final-year submission?
Yes, you can learn from it and extend it. Change the name, design and add your own features so the work is genuinely yours, and keep the API secure before going live.
