Method 1: Fill and sign in Microsoft Edge (offline)
- Right-click the PDF → Open with → Microsoft Edge.
- Click into form fields and type, or choose Add text (the “A” icon) to type anywhere.
- Use Draw to sign with a mouse/touch pen, or Highlight to mark lines.
- Press Ctrl + S (or Save as) to keep a copy with your changes.
Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) has Fill & Sign with the same features and also works on Android/iPhone.
Method 2: Change existing text
- Install LibreOffice (free) and open the PDF – it opens in Draw.
- Double-click a line of text to edit it. Keep the font similar; fonts not on your PC are replaced.
- File → Export as PDF to save a new PDF (do not use “Save”, which creates an .odg file).
For many changes, convert to Word, edit, then Save As → PDF – see PDF to Word.
Method 3: Delete, rotate, merge or split pages
- Remove pages without any tool: open the PDF → Print → printer Microsoft Print to PDF → Pages: e.g.
1-3, 5→ Print → save the new file. - Rotate permanently: Acrobat Reader rotates only the view; use iLovePDF “Rotate PDF” or PDF24 to save the rotation.
- Merge admission documents into one file: iLovePDF/Smallpdf “Merge PDF” for public files, PDF24 Creator offline for private ones.
- On phones, the free Adobe Scan/Google Drive scanner can combine several pages into one PDF while scanning.
Hiding private information correctly
For sharing Aadhaar, UIDAI’s masked Aadhaar download (only last 4 digits visible) is the safest option.
Honest use
Editing your own documents, filling forms and correcting your own mistakes is fine. Changing marks, dates, amounts or signatures on certificates, bills or official letters is forgery and a criminal offence.

तरीका 1: Microsoft Edge में भरें और sign करें (offline)
- PDF पर right-click → Open with → Microsoft Edge।
- Form fields में click करके type करें, या कहीं भी लिखने के लिए Add text (“A” icon) चुनें।
- Mouse/touch pen से sign के लिए Draw, lines mark करने के लिए Highlight।
- बदलावों वाली copy के लिए Ctrl + S (या Save as) दबाएँ।
Adobe Acrobat Reader (मुफ़्त) में भी यही features वाला Fill & Sign है और यह Android/iPhone पर भी चलता है।
तरीका 2: मौजूदा text बदलना
- LibreOffice (मुफ़्त) install करके PDF खोलें – यह Draw में खुलती है।
- Text की line पर double-click करके बदलें। Font मिलता-जुलता रखें; आपके PC पर न होने वाले fonts बदल जाते हैं।
- नई PDF के लिए File → Export as PDF (“Save” नहीं, उससे .odg file बनती है)।
बहुत सारे बदलावों के लिए Word में बदलें, edit करें, फिर Save As → PDF – PDF से Word देखें।
तरीका 3: Pages delete, rotate, merge या split
- बिना tool के pages हटाना: PDF खोलें → Print → printer Microsoft Print to PDF → Pages: जैसे
1-3, 5→ Print → नई file save। - स्थायी रूप से rotate: Acrobat Reader सिर्फ़ view घुमाता है; rotation save करने के लिए iLovePDF “Rotate PDF” या PDF24।
- Admission documents को एक file में merge: public files के लिए iLovePDF/Smallpdf “Merge PDF”, निजी के लिए offline PDF24 Creator।
- Phones पर मुफ़्त Adobe Scan/Google Drive scanner scan करते समय कई pages एक PDF में जोड़ सकता है।
निजी जानकारी सही तरीके से छिपाना
Aadhaar share करने के लिए UIDAI का masked Aadhaar download (सिर्फ़ आख़िरी 4 अंक दिखते हैं) सबसे सुरक्षित विकल्प है।
ईमानदार उपयोग
अपने documents edit करना, forms भरना और अपनी ग़लतियाँ ठीक करना ठीक है। Certificates, bills या आधिकारिक letters पर marks, dates, रक़म या signatures बदलना जालसाज़ी और आपराधिक अपराध है।

बिना software के PDF से page कैसे delete करें?
“Microsoft Print to PDF” पर print करके सिर्फ़ रखने वाले pages चुनें। नई PDF में बाक़ी pages नहीं होंगे।
क्या PDF में text छिपाने के लिए काला box काफ़ी है?
नहीं। छिपा text फिर भी select और copy हो सकता है। सही redaction tool या print-और-scan इस्तेमाल करें।
