Internet
Internet networks का विश्वव्यापी network है जो common TCP/IP protocols से अरबों devices जोड़ता है। इसका कोई एक मालिक नहीं; ISPs (Internet Service Providers) हमें इससे जोड़ते हैं।

World Wide Web
WWW, जिसे Tim Berners-Lee ने 1989–90 में बनाया, hyperlinks से जुड़े web pages का संग्रह है जिसे browser से देखते हैं। इसमें pages लिखने के लिए HTML, उन्हें ढूँढने के लिए URL और भेजने के लिए HTTP/HTTPS इस्तेमाल होते हैं।
URL
URL (Uniform Resource Locator) web पर किसी resource का unique पता है।

- Web page – web पर एक document (HTML में), जैसे results page।
- Website – एक domain name के अंतर्गत जुड़े web pages का समूह, जैसे www.cbse.gov.in।
- Home page – website का पहला page।

- माँगने पर content बनता है
- Server programs (PHP, Python) और databases
- हर user या समय के लिए अलग
- जैसे results, Gmail inbox

Web server software (Apache, Nginx) वाला computer है जो websites रखता है और browser के माँगने पर pages भेजता है। Web hosting मतलब ऐसे server पर जगह किराए पर लेना ताकि आपकी website 24×7 online रहे; साथ में domain name register करते हैं।
Web browser
Browser web pages माँगने, लाने और दिखाने वाला software है – Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Opera। Browser settings से history साफ़ कर सकते हैं, pop-ups रोक सकते हैं और default search engine तय कर सकते हैं।
Add-ons, plug-ins और cookies
Cookies browsing आसान बनाती हैं पर third-party cookies आपको track कर सकती हैं, इसलिए shared computers पर इन्हें साफ़ करें।
