नकली Job और Work-From-Home Scam: पैसे देने से पहले कैसे जाँचें
नकली job और task-based scams पहचानें जो fee या पहले deposit माँगते हैं।
Common fake job scams

Red flags
- Any request to pay money to get or keep a job.
- Offer without an interview, or an “interview” only on WhatsApp/Telegram chat.
- Recruiter uses Gmail/Yahoo instead of the company domain, or a personal UPI ID.
- Salary far above normal for no experience; “limited seats, join today”.
- Asks for Aadhaar, PAN, bank OTP or to open a bank account “for salary” that they control.
Never let anyone use your bank account or SIM in return for “commission”. Scammers use such “mule accounts” to move stolen money, and the account holder can face police action.
How to verify a job offer
- Find the job on the company’s official careers page (type the URL yourself).
- Check the sender’s email domain matches the company website.
- Search “company name + scam” and check LinkedIn for the recruiter’s real profile and history.
- Call the company’s official number (from its website) and ask HR to confirm.
- For government jobs, only trust official notifications on .gov.in / .nic.in sites and employment news.
- For overseas jobs, use recruiting agents registered on the MEA eMigrate portal.
Get real jobs safely
Real employers pay you – they do not charge you. Build a clean resume, a portfolio from our Data Science or JavaScript projects, and apply through company sites, LinkedIn, Naukri, or the National Career Service portal.
If you were cheated
- Stop paying immediately – scammers will invent more fees to “release” your money.
- Call 1930 and report at cybercrime.gov.in with chats, UPI IDs and payment receipts.
- Report the WhatsApp/Telegram account inside the app and block it.
- Report fraud numbers on Sanchar Saathi → Chakshu.

ख़तरे के संकेत
- Job पाने या बनाए रखने के लिए पैसे माँगना।
- बिना interview offer, या सिर्फ़ WhatsApp/Telegram chat पर “interview”।
- Recruiter company domain की जगह Gmail/Yahoo, या निजी UPI ID इस्तेमाल करता है।
- बिना अनुभव के सामान्य से बहुत ज़्यादा salary; “सीटें सीमित, आज ही जुड़ें”।
- Aadhaar, PAN, bank OTP माँगना या “salary के लिए” ऐसा bank account खुलवाना जो वे चलाएँ।
“Commission” के बदले कभी किसी को अपना bank account या SIM इस्तेमाल न करने दें। Scammers ऐसे “mule accounts” से चोरी का पैसा घुमाते हैं, और account holder पर police कार्रवाई हो सकती है।
Job offer कैसे सत्यापित करें
- Company के official careers page पर job ढूँढें (URL ख़ुद type करें)।
- जाँचें कि sender का email domain company website से मेल खाता है।
- “company name + scam” खोजें और LinkedIn पर recruiter की असली profile और इतिहास देखें।
- Company के official number (website से) पर call करके HR से पुष्टि करें।
- सरकारी jobs के लिए सिर्फ़ .gov.in / .nic.in sites और रोज़गार समाचार की official notifications पर भरोसा करें।
- विदेश की jobs के लिए MEA eMigrate portal पर registered recruiting agents से ही जाएँ।
असली jobs सुरक्षित तरीके से पाएँ
असली employers आपको पैसे देते हैं – आपसे नहीं लेते। साफ़ resume बनाएँ, हमारे Data Science या JavaScript projects से portfolio बनाएँ, और company sites, LinkedIn, Naukri, या National Career Service portal से apply करें।
अगर धोखा हुआ
- तुरंत पैसे देना बंद करें – scammers आपका पैसा “निकालने” के लिए और fees बनाएँगे।
- 1930 पर call करें और chats, UPI IDs और payment receipts के साथ cybercrime.gov.in पर report करें।
- WhatsApp/Telegram account को app के अंदर report करके block करें।

नहीं। ये task scams हैं: पहली छोटी कमाई भरोसा बनाती है, फिर बड़े tasks के लिए पैसे जमा करवाकर ले लिए जाते हैं।

Company की official website के contact से HR से पुष्टि करें, email domain जाँचें, और कोई fee कभी न दें।
